Ruby interpreter (CUI) 1.9.3p0 [i386-mingw32] has stopped working

Ok here's the deal... I run a scenario in Rubymine and I get this error: "Process finished with exit code -1073741819" When I run this same feature using the console I get the error message: "Ruby interpreter (CUI) 1.9.3p0 [i386-mingw32] has stopped working."

I am using Windows 7 64 bit and the following gems:

Let me know if there's any other information I can provide to help this along.

I would say that this crash is caused by an error in the selenium-webdriver. Faulting module path points to it so I probably you should submit bug to Selenium project.

As @bosko pointed out, perhaps the IEDriver have issues with Ruby 1.9.3, please bring this conversation to RubyInstaller mailing list if you can provide us a case to reproduce this and we can help you out with details for you to report to Selenium.

@ingfernandotobar and @bttlsgtmajor can you guys try with 1.9.3-p125 again? I think the buffered logger from Rails is the one causing this, but need some way to replicate.

I just tried the same application that previously failed on Windows 7 64, with previous releases of Ruby1.9.2 and Ruby1.9.3, but in this case using Ruby 1.9.3-p 125.
Now if it works correctly in development mode, even without changing the log level. Thanks

Mine is still breaking. I get the error on the command [at]browser.close I've also tried [at]browser.quit and it causes the crash as well.

So your problem is other. Please see a way to recreate it with small
application and share with us in a github repo.

I'm still facing this issue while running rake db:reset I get Ruby Interpreter cui 1.8.7.352 has stopped working. I've installed both 1.8.x and 1.9.3 ruby. But due to project conflicts I manually uninstalled rake gem 1.9.3 beta1 and now using 1.8.x. Someone please help me out here, I'm new to ruby.

@rohitkandhal that doesn't seems related to any of the issues mentioned before. Please note that if you're using a MySQL database you need to build the mysql gem against the version of libmysql.dll you're using.

If you don't provide more information about the segfault (like a backtrace or details of the application itself) there is nothing we can do to help you. We would be just guessing what is going on.
