EarA 0.5.0

This release integrates the hardware-tested work prepared by Alex Vasileiou (@alevas):

  • preserves selected-device state and the last known case-battery reading across GUI actions;
  • adds a 1–5 bass-enhancement slider;
  • refreshes battery state every 30 seconds without reconnecting the earbuds;
  • follows the verified CMF Buds 2 custom-EQ sequence and hides unsupported Advanced EQ;
  • recognizes PipeWire colon-form MAC addresses when reporting the active codec;
  • serializes background battery reads with other RFCOMM operations.

Alex’s three original commits are retained with him as author, and the integration work credits him as co-author. Thank you, Alex, for the implementation, tests, and real-device validation.

All 58 automated tests pass. The release includes .deb, .rpm, AppImage, and source packages.
