  • Install RepoPalette with one short workflow file and one commit.
  • The installation commit starts automatically, generates the default ribbon + paper chart, and places it in the Profile README.
  • A reusable workflow now owns checkout, validation, committing, and weekly refreshes.
  • AI-assisted and manual paths share the same immutable, security-conscious installer.
  • Advanced filters, Manual/Vibe charts, branding, and direct Action use remain available in focused docs.

Safety and compatibility

  • Existing direct Action users are not opted into README editing; update-readme defaults to false.
  • Managed README edits are bounded by explicit markers, reject malformed marker order, preserve existing content, and encode custom output paths.
  • The public workflow, underlying Action, and AI guide are all pinned to immutable commits.
