Welcome to the initial release of gryndset (v1.0.0) — a premium, local-first dashboard shell designed for creative freelancers and studios to manage their projects, routines, notes, and financial ledger tracking.

🔒 Strictly Local & Privacy-Centric

  • Zero Cloud Databases: Stored 100% locally in your browser's localStorage API. No logins, tracking, or cloud servers.
  • Offline-Ready: The app runs completely locally in the browser.
  • Database Maintenance: Exposes options inside Settings to export complete JSON database backups or import backups to sync states across devices.

🌟 Core Features Included

  • System Dashboard: Real-time stats widgets (Kanban tasks count, habits streak, net worth indicator), welcome dashboard, digital clock, and custom scratchpad widget.
  • Command Palette (⌘K): Global command center overlay allowing fuzzy-searched navigation and quick actions (like adding a note, logging a transaction, or toggling themes).
  • Multi-Account Finance Tracker: Manage separate account ledgers (e.g. Cash, Bank Account). Features target budget caps, renewal subscription lists, and safe-transfer account deletions.
  • Investments Tracker (WIP 🚧): Log stock & crypto trade orders, fetch live crypto prices via Binance API, convert USD/INR live FX rates, and review holdings donut charts and SVG performance line graphs.
  • Projects Kanban: Group tasks inside folders, drag-and-drop cards across columns, manage checklist subtask completion, deadlines, and priority indicators.
  • Habits Checklists: Streaking routine checkboxes with a visual 365-day consistency heatmap grid.
  • Notes Organizer: Write notes structured in folders, pin important entries, and use the split-pane Markdown editor with real-time preview rendering.

📱 Responsive Mobile Optimizations

  • Reformatted wide tables (finance ledgers, active holdings, and order transaction history ledgers) into list cards on viewport widths $\le$ 600px to prevent horizontal text clipping.
  • Fully optimized layouts for mobile phones (iPhone SE, Galaxy Fold) and tablets (iPad Mini, Asus Fold).
  • Interactive Onboarding: Adds a beautiful glassmorphic 4-step onboarding flow for fresh users to setup their display name, currency selector, and budget goals with currency-sensitive defaults.
