Volume and pause from the keyboard ⌨️
Ctrl+↑/Ctrl+↓: louder / quieter. On a BluOS speaker it turns the speaker itself, and the glass volume pill at the top shows the new level. Hold the keys to keep going. For apps on this PC (Spotify, browser, ...) it changes the Windows volume, like your keyboard's volume keys.Ctrl+Space: pause / play whatever OZBEAT shows, on the speaker or in the app.

New look, see the volume, keep the lyrics big 🔊
- New logo. OZBEAT has a new icon: the beat inside a ring, with the blue dot. You'll see it on the app window, the taskbar,
OZBEAT.exein Explorer and at the top of the settings. - Volume on screen. When you turn your BluOS speaker up or down (from the app, the speaker or a remote), a glass pill appears at the top. The bar glides to the new level in the colors of the cover, the speaker's waves light up as it gets louder, and each step sends a soft ring out of the speaker (louder) or into it (quieter). After a moment it rises away on its own.
- Big lyrics stay big. Clicked the lyrics to make them big and the next song started? They now stay big. Until the new song's lyrics load, the song title shows in their place, and then the lyrics fade in. Click anywhere else or press

- Nové logo: OZBEAT má novou ikonu, tep v kruhu s modrou tečkou. Uvidíš ji v okně aplikace, na hlavním panelu, u
OZBEAT.exev Průzkumníku a nahoře v nastavení. - Hlasitost na obrazovce: když zesílíš nebo ztlumíš reproduktor BluOS (v aplikaci, na reproduktoru nebo ovladačem), objeví se nahoře skleněný ukazatel. Proužek plynule dojede na novou hlasitost v barvách obalu, vlnky u reproduktoru se rozsvěcují, čím je hlasitěji, a každý krok pošle z reproduktoru jemný kruh ven (hlasitěji) nebo dovnitř (tišeji). Za chvíli sám odpluje.
- Velký text zůstane velký: když máš text zvětšený a začne další písnička, už se nezmenší. Než se načte text nové písničky, ukáže se místo něj její název a pak text plynule naběhne. Zpátky se vrátíš kliknutím jinam nebo klávesou

Your WLED light dances along 💡
- WLED lights move to the music. Open the settings (
Ctrl+S) and type your WLED light's IP address under Světlo WLED. OZBEAT sends it what it hears, so WLED's sound-reactive effects (the ones marked ♪) move with the song. In WLED, turn on AudioReactive and set its Sync to Receive. - In the colors of the cover. With every new song the light takes the main colors of the album cover.
- Leave the field empty and nothing changes.

Ctrl+S) a pod Světlo WLED napiš IP adresu svého světla. OZBEAT mu posílá, co slyší, takže zvukové efekty ve WLED (ty označené ♪) se hýbou s písničkou. Ve WLED zapni AudioReactive a v něm nastav Sync na Receive. - V barvách obalu: s každou novou písničkou převezme světlo hlavní barvy obalu alba.

- Lyrics fill the screen with one click. Click the lyrics under the cover and they grow smoothly into the middle of the window, big enough to sing along from across the room. Cover and titles step aside. Click anywhere else, or press
Esc, and everything slides back. - A nicer pause sign. When the music is paused, OZBEAT now shows two clean rounded bars next to "Pozastaveno" instead of the clumsy symbol from the font.
- Smoother glass in the settings. The light on the settings panel is now one soft gradient instead of visible steps, and the edges no longer end abruptly.

- Texty přes celou obrazovku na jedno kliknutí: klikni na text pod obalem a plynule se zvětší doprostřed okna, aby šel číst i z druhého konce místnosti. Obal a názvy ustoupí. Klikni kamkoli jinam nebo zmáčkni
Esca všechno se vrátí zpátky. - Hezčí znak pauzy: když je hudba pozastavená, ukazuje OZBEAT vedle „Pozastaveno“ dva čisté zaoblené proužky místo neohrabaného symbolu z písma.
- Hladší sklo v nastavení: světlo na panelu nastavení je teď jeden jemný přechod místo viditelných schodů a okraje už nekončí useknutě.

Lyrics that went missing when the server was busy 🔧
- Lyrics no longer get lost to a busy server. The lyrics database is often overloaded and answers "try again in a moment". OZBEAT asked only once per song, so when that happened the song stayed without lyrics, and for a while the next songs did too. Now it asks again right away, and if the server is still busy, it tries again while the song keeps playing.
Songs like Jeď Tvrdě Nebo Jeď Domu by Yzomandias, whose lyrics the database had all along, now show them.

- Texty se už neztrácí kvůli přetíženému serveru: databáze textů je často přetížená a odpoví „zkus to za chvíli“. OZBEAT se na každou písničku ptal jen jednou, takže v tu chvíli zůstala bez textu a na nějakou dobu i další písničky. Teď se zeptá hned znovu, a když je server pořád zaneprázdněný, zkouší to dál, dokud písnička hraje.
Písničky jako Jeď Tvrdě Nebo Jeď Domu od Yzomandiase, jejichž text databáze celou dobu měla, ho teď ukážou.

OZBEAT 0.1.5 · Lyrics for many more songs
Lyrics for many more songs 🎤
- Lyrics that were there but never showed. For many songs the lyrics database only has the text without timing. OZBEAT downloaded it but showed nothing. Now it times the lines itself across the song, so you see the lyrics scroll along. The timing is an estimate, but much better than an empty screen.
- Better lyrics search. Songs whose synced lyrics were hidden behind a plain upload, or behind a title like "Song (Live 2024)", now find their properly timed lyrics.
On the songs we tested, lyrics went from about 43% to about two thirds. Smaller artists that the lyrics database doesn't know at all still have none, and we're working on that next.

- Texty, které byly, ale neukazovaly se: u spousty písniček má databáze text jen bez časování. OZBEAT ho stáhl, ale nic neukázal. Teď si řádky sám rozloží přes písničku, takže text běží s ní. Časování je odhad, ale pořád mnohem lepší než prázdná obrazovka.
- Lepší hledání textů: písničky, jejichž synchronizovaný text se schovával za verzí bez časů nebo za názvem typu „Song (Live 2024)“, ho teď najdou správně načasovaný.
U testovaných písniček stouplo pokrytí textů zhruba ze 43 % na dvě třetiny. Menší interpreti, které databáze textů vůbec nezná, zatím text nemají, na tom pracujeme dál.

OZBEAT 0.1.4 · A new look
A new look ✨
- Its own title bar. The Windows frame is gone. A slim bar with minimize, maximize and close fades in when you move the mouse and disappears again when you stop, so the visuals get the whole window. Drag it to move the window, double-click it to maximize.
- Second screen with a spark (
Ctrl+D). The lyrics pour letter by letter into a spark, which flies over to the other monitor and switches it on like an old TV. Turning it off plays it backwards and the spark brings the lyrics home. - Glass settings (
Ctrl+S). The settings panel is now frosted glass tinted by the current cover, and it springs open from small. - Fullscreen fixes.
F11from a maximized window now really covers the taskbar, and a thin white line at the top of the screen is gone.

- Vlastní lišta okna: místo rámečku Windows tenká lišta, která se ukáže při pohybu myši a zase zmizí. Přetažením hýbeš oknem, dvojklikem ho maximalizuješ.
- Druhá obrazovka s jiskrou (
Ctrl+D): texty se po písmenkách sesypou do jiskry, ta přeletí na druhý monitor a nahodí ho jako starou televizi. Při vypnutí je zase vrátí. - Skleněné nastavení (

Smoother song changes ✨
- Lyrics show up right away. They used to wait 3–6 seconds into a song; now they appear almost instantly.
- A cover for every song. OZBEAT now also uses the picture your player shows (Spotify, browser, …), so songs that the music databases don't know get their cover too. It appears immediately and is swapped for a sharper one when available.
- Soft transitions. Cover, background and colors blend into the next song instead of jumping.
- Updates from inside the app. When a new version is out, OZBEAT tells you. Open the settings (
Ctrl+S) and click Aktualizovat a restartovat. It downloads and checks the new version, replaces itself and restarts. This works from this version on, so get 0.1.3 the usual way once. - Smaller cache. Downloaded artwork is now limited to about 250 MB, the least recently used goes first.

Faster cover art ⚡
When the song changes, the cover now shows up in under a second. Before, it could take up to 10 seconds. OZBEAT now shows the first cover it finds right away, downloads smaller images (sized for the screen, not for print), and loads them in parallel. Lyrics and the artist background still fill in a moment later.

OZBEAT can now run as your Windows screensaver, across all your monitors: cover and title on the main screen, lyrics on the second (the same as Ctrl+D). Move the mouse or press a key to close it.
How to set it up

- Set how many minutes to wait and click OK.
