Bug Fix

  • ✅ Strands Compatibility: Fixed type annotations in todo tools that were causing "unrecognized tool specification" warnings
  • ✅ Modern Typing: Updated from old typing.List/typing.Dict to modern list[]/dict[] syntax
  • ✅ Full Compatibility: All 8 todo functions now work properly with Strands framework

Installation

pip install basic-open-agent-tools==0.10.3

For Strands integration:

pip install basic-open-agent-tools[strands]==0.10.3

This release resolves Strands compatibility issues with todo tools while maintaining full backward compatibility.
