Release list
Leash v0.37.19
Fixes HTTP 413 errors when image-heavy agent conversations exceed the previous 16 MiB local proxy request limit.
- Raises the default request limit to 64 MiB in the native proxy and desktop-managed launches.
- Preserves explicitly configured size limits and existing policy enforcement.
- Includes regression coverage for larger requests and custom limits.
Validation: 165 desktop tests and 31 native proxy tests passed. A 17 MiB image request was forwarded byte-for-byte through a local test upstream; requests above 64 MiB were rejected.
To fully uninstall Leash, use its in-app uninstall or the installer helper's --uninstall option. Deleting the app bundle alone can leave agent settings behind.
Leash v0.37.18
Leash 0.37.18
Leash 0.37.18 reduces unnecessary security interruptions while keeping
high-confidence secret and destructive-action protections closed.
Highlights
- Makes DLP, sensitive-access, and blast-radius approvals goal-aware by
default, with configurable Strict mode for users and Business policy owners. - Reuses one bounded contextual evaluation across relevant protections to
avoid duplicate model calls and delays. - Adds recent conversation context for installed-agent hooks while bounding
and validating transcript access. - Stops Codex and Claude background control requests from creating duplicate
Island activity and completion sounds. - Replaces full-conversation feature-runtime round trips with a bounded prompt
context envelope, preventing payload-limit reconnect loops on long Codex
conversations. - Reports genuine oversized payloads as HTTP 413 instead of a retryable 503.
Verification
- Engine, Desktop, Rust proxy, hosted API, and hosted dashboard test suites
passed. - Local proxy integration, typechecks, production builds, deployment
readiness, and product smoke checks passed.

Leash 0.37.9
What’s new
- Keep Leash running quietly after login without opening Settings.
- Improve macOS tray reliability while preserving the original full-color Leash icon.
- Add per-project exclusions so Leash can leave development workspaces such as OL2 completely alone, including nested sessions and unchanged proxy pass-through.
- Make Settings resizable and scrollable on smaller Mac displays.
- Add Disconnect and full macOS uninstall flows that restore managed agent configuration, remove proxy hooks, clean up the optional local Docker runtime, and return Leash to the setup wizard.
Validation
- Desktop, engine, native proxy, mobile, deployment, upgrade, packaging, and installer smoke tests passed.
- macOS terminal installer and Windows installer are built by the release workflows.
Leash 0.37.8

- Widen the sidebar responsively and wrap long Feature names.
- Add Sign out & disconnect to remove local monitoring integrations and return to setup.
- Keep launch-at-login disabled until setup completes.
- Add regression coverage for disconnect state and compact-window navigation.
