When some "strange" pipelines fail building/testing cfs, it can make sense to run the docker images locally. This is a very brief howto:
install docker according the instructions for your OS
get the images from https://gitlab.com/openCFS/build-environment
go to the directory of the Dockerfile of interest (here centos7/intel) and build the image
docker build --tag 'centos7_intel' . This does not create files in the present directory.
docker build --tag 'centos7_intel' .
start the container for interactive use (user gitlab-runner, add --user root in case) via
docker run -it 'centos7_intel' bash
within the virtual system you can e.g. git clone https://github.com/openCFS/cfs.git cfs then checkout your branch and build cfs
git clone https://github.com/openCFS/cfs.git cfs
you can check running docker containers via
docker ps
you can log into a running container via
docker exec -it <hash> bash where the hash is from the docker ps output.
docker exec -it <hash> bash
