Memory Profiling

Heaptrack is a cool memory profiling tool to give a detailed overview of the heap memory use. To use it just install from package manager (available in opensuse and Ubuntu)

• heaptrack
• heaptrack_gui

To perform memory profiling

• Run the command heaptrack application args
• Use heaptrack_gui to visualize the results heaptrack_gui heaptrack.cfs.*.gz
