title: Get the Source Code

First make sure to generate an ssh-key and add your ssh-key to GitLab. Then you have to create a directory for the source code. We propose the following directory structure in your home directory:

• ~/code
  • cfs
  • cfs_release
  • cfs_debug

In the ~/code directory clone the source code via

git clone git@gitlab.com:openCFS/cfs.git

This will clone CFS into the directory ~/code/cfs. This is your source directory, in the following called <source>.
