title: Installing CFS

The latest code is automatically built using our GitLab infrastructure in the CI/CD pipelines and provided as Job artifacts. You may download and install CFS for your operating system.

Linux

Our linux builds via the CI/CD pipelines provide up to date binaries of the master branch that should run on all recent Linux distributions. You can download them from https://opencfs.gitlab.io/cfs/CFS-master-Linux.tar.gz.

To install CFS:

  1. download the binary archive
  2. extract the archive, e.g. by tar -xzvf CFS-master-Linux.tar.gz, which provides a directory CFS-<SHA>-Linux where <SHA> is the source revision. You find the executables in the CFS-<SHA>-Linux/bin directory, e.g. run cfs by executing ./CFS-<SHA>-Linux/bin/cfs

Windows

You can also find the most recent Windows builds in the pipeline.

To install: TBD
