Each archive contains rce-ide, rce, rce-lsp, rce-mcp, the README and the license files. Verify with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing. This release was built by the release workflow of this repository from the tagged commit.

macOS: on first launch Gatekeeper may block the binaries; run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine rce rce-ide rce-lsp rce-mcp in the unpacked folder, or allow them in System Settings, Privacy and Security.

What is new

• The checker tracks RCE specification draft 0.7 (openIE-dev/rce): language version 0.7 with size-scaled standard library method costs (C.6.4, C.15), the cost of a method call fixed by the version of the module where the call is written, and rce trace --json reference traces (10.9).
• rce --version prints the release, the specification draft and the accepted language versions (0.5, 0.6, 0.7).
• Release archives are now built in GitHub Actions; every push is tested by CI.

Known limits

• The Windows binaries are cross-built and not run on Windows.
• The aarch64 Linux build is cross-built and not run on Arm hardware.
• Energy measurement needs a readable meter (RAPL on Linux; NVML behind a build feature). Desktop calibration has not been run on real hardware for this release.

What is new

• The vendored checker is synced from https://github.com/openIE-dev/rce (commit 0524b9b). The draft 0.6 concurrency syntax sits behind the conc06 cargo feature, which is off by default; release binaries implement the RCE 0.5 language.
• The IDE understands the draft 0.6b AST when built with that feature: replicated state, interrupt priority, step deadlines, protocols (session types), node partitions and supervisors, shown in the Form graph and the selection card.

Known limits

Same as 0.1.0: Windows and Linux aarch64 builds were cross-built and not run on that hardware; Linux x86_64 was smoke-tested without a physical GPU.

What is new

• Graph edits: Shift-drag a definition onto another file to move it, Delete to remove, N to add a function. Each edit is written only if rce check admits the whole program.
• Review badges: green for a human review that still matches the code, orange once the code changed.
• Metric picker: chips (or F6/F7/F8) choose the metric for colour, size and glow.
• --history N: replay the last N commits that changed .rce files on the time scrubber.
• Semantic zoom: click a folded file to open it in place; Esc folds it again.
• GPU launch timing for the IDE's own wgpu work: GPU timestamp queries when the adapter has them, else host-timed, else none with the reason (rce-ide telemetry probe).
• rce test --energy-budget J [--measured J | --measure] [--strict]: fail a test run that exceeds an energy budget. Without a measurement the gate uses the static simulated cost and says so.
• rce-mcp --http jails itself on Linux (Landlock + seccomp): loopback or declared hosts only, outbound only to declared ports, files limited to the workspace. Other platforms refuse HTTP mode unless --no-jail.

Known limits

• Windows binaries were cross-built and not run on Windows. They are larger than the Linux ones because the cross linker kept unused code.
• The aarch64 Linux build was cross-built and not run on Arm hardware.
• The Linux x86_64 build was smoke-tested on a machine with no physical GPU (software Vulkan, llvmpipe).
• Energy measurement needs a readable meter (RAPL on Linux; NVML behind a build feature). Desktop calibration has not been run on real hardware for this release.
