Feature Request: Rust implementation

My use case is my current AI application is written in rust and I've had to re-implement this library in rust myself but I would love an official rust implementation so I can get regular updates in case breaking changes to the "protocol" are shipped (and thus my js client stops working with my backend)

Just making this issue to signal that there is consumer demand for this.
