codex-profiles: switch Codex CLI/Desktop accounts with isolated CODEX_HOME directories

Hi! I built a small Bash helper for people who use Codex across personal, work, school, or client accounts and want each account to keep separate auth, config, sessions, plugins, caches, and logs.

What it does:

• Maps profiles to separate CODEX_HOME directories: default -> ~/.codex, work -> ~/.codex-work, etc.
• Launches Codex CLI or Codex Desktop with the selected profile.
• Keeps auth.json tokens isolated; it never reads, prints, copies, parses, or migrates auth tokens.
• Supports config cloning only for an allowlist of non-secret config files.

Example:

codex-profile init work
codex-profile login work
codex-profile cli work
codex-profile app work ~/Dev/project

It is intentionally small: one Bash script, no runtime dependencies. It is community-maintained and not an official OpenAI project.

One important boundary: it only isolates Codex local state via CODEX_HOME. OS-level credentials like SSH keys, GitHub CLI auth, browser cookies, and other user-level credentials are still shared by the same OS account. For strict separation, separate OS users are still the right tool.
