Show and tell: bounded, resumable image workflows for Codex

Maintainer disclosure: I built an independent open-source Codex plugin and local MCP runtime for this specific image-heavy workflow. It does not patch Codex or repair an already-bloated thread. When its generate/inspect tools are used, media bytes stay outside MCP result payloads; Codex receives bounded job receipts, file references, and resumable handoffs.
