Experimental rollback/safety wrapper for Codex CLI — looking for testers

I’ve been working on TimeAgent, an experimental rollback/safety layer for coding agents like Codex and Claude Code.

Since my first post, I’ve shipped:

• npm package: npm install -g timeagent
• VS Code extension: TimeAgent for VS Code
• protected agent sessions
• native before/after diffs
• undo to the exact pre-session workspace state
• crash recovery
• experimental visibility/gating for selected high-risk external commands

The project is still experimental and is not a sandbox.

I’m mainly looking for people who use Codex regularly and are willing to try it on non-critical repos.

What I’d especially like feedback on:

• Is the protected-session workflow useful?
• Does the separate TimeAgent layer add value compared with native agent checkpoints?
• What actions outside the filesystem would you most want an agent safety layer to control or undo?

If you test it, I’d be very interested in what breaks or feels unnecessary.
