Codex is not using credits after weekly limit is reached (Team Pro plan)

We have a Team Pro plan for our company and we've purchased a bunch of credits and confirmed they show up in the Team credits pool dashboard:

But when trying to use codex CLI, we are hitting weekly limits and it's refusing to use the credits to continue.

According to the docs, the credits should automatically be used once limits are reached:

#11726 is not the same issue as this one might be the same, in my case credits are not being consumed at all, and it's not just a warning banner, it's completely preventing me from continuing without downgrading to codex-5.1 it shows the prompt repeatedly but does let me continue.

The CLI will display 0% left if you've consumed all of your usage. That's expected even if it's consuming credits from your team plan. I mention that in case the "0% left" message is causing confusion.

What error message do you see when you enter a new prompt?

Are you seeing this for all users in your team plan, or is it specific to one user?

You said "it's completely preventing me from continuing without downgrading to codex-5.1.". Does that imply that changing the model selection allows you to continue working? If so, that doesn't sound like a rate-limit or credit issue.

Same problem. Bought more credits on a company plan, but still doesn't let me use codex.

Sorry to be clear, I dont see an error message per se. I see the prompt to downgrade models repeatedly, then if I decide to stay with the same model I dont see any credits being used in the dashboard which is why I thought it wasn't working / it was force-downgrading.

It does appear to keep working locally actually, but I get the prompt repeatedly a few times an hour, and I don't see the credit balance change so I'm not sure what balance it's drawing from after 0%.

Feel free to merge issues with the other one if you think it's a dupe after all.
