New Codex Killed by Kaspersky EDR

Kaspersky killed command_runner.exe ( or something like that)

Install kaspersky
update the codex on windows.

You said "New Codex". Does that mean that you were not seeing this issue with previous versions of Codex? Can you confirm that if you downgrade to 0.104.0 the problem disappears?

You will probably need to do your own investigation to diagnose this. Unless we hear reports of this from other users, it's not something that we will likely prioritize. You could clone the codex repo and build from source, then ask codex to help you diagnose the problem. Let us know if you discover any clues or a root cause.

v0.104 works fine.

I’m not questioning the security aspect, but it’s really inconvenient — Kaspersky wiped out the entire startup chain, and I had to reinstall a lot of things.

Maybe the reputation score is high enough now, because Kaspersky isn’t flagging it anymore.

This sounds like something you'll need to work out with Kaspersky. I don't think there's anything the Codex team can do about it.
