What variant of Codex are you using?
CLI
What feature would you like to see?
There are some inconveniences when generating and executing terminal commands, such as manually modifying commands before execution or encountering permission issues that require entering a password during the process. Exposing the password directly to Codex would obviously raise security concerns.
The examples I mentioned are not the only cases. Based on the above reasons, I hope to have a "take over" function that allows users to take over before execution, manually modify commands and execute them directly (Shell mode), or enter a password (Shell mode), and then return to the Agent's workflow. This would make many things more convenient. Entering the password directly into the terminal might also provide some security assurance.
