codex.exe processes fail to terminate upon closing the application #14992

When closing the Codex app on Windows, the session does not end completely.
Checking the Windows Task Manager reveals that the codex.exe process remains running in the background. Furthermore, repeatedly opening and closing the application causes multiple, duplicate instances of codex.exe to accumulate in the Task Manager's Details tab.
