What issue are you seeing?

Codex App on Windows breaks most of the input device (mouse/keyboard) driver that customize behavior of mouse button or keyboard key presses. These input modifications simply don't work when Codex is the active window, and often cause input state to be stuck, requiring computer restart.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Use any driver/app that customizes input device button behavior, for example X-Mouse Button Control
  2. Customize some input button behavior
  3. Try to use customized input behavior while Codex window is it focus

What is the expected behavior?

Codex app does not interfere with drivers/software that controls input device behavior
