Codex App: Files changed menu “Open in Finder” / “Open with Finder” do nothing

What issue are you seeing?

In the Codex App on macOS, the Finder actions from the Files changed card do not appear to work.

From the Files changed list shown after a Codex run:

• Clicking Open in Finder does nothing.
• Clicking Open with > Finder also does nothing.

However, the same type of action works from the right-side Review pane: using Open with > Finder there correctly opens Finder and reveals the selected file.

This is not a blocking issue, but it adds extra steps every time I want to locate changed files in Finder. I have to open the Review pane first instead of using the Files changed card directly.

Steps to reproduce

1. Run a Codex task locally until the response shows a Files changed card.
2. Open the context menu for one of the changed files in that Files changed card.
3. Click Open in Finder.
4. Try again with Open with > Finder.
5. Observe that Finder does not open and the selected file is not revealed.
6. Open the right-side Review pane.
7. Use Open with > Finder on the same file.
8. Observe that Finder opens correctly from the Review pane.

Expected behavior

The Finder actions in the Files changed card should behave the same as the Review pane and open Finder/reveal the selected file immediately.

Actual behavior

The Finder actions from the Files changed card have no visible effect. Finder does not open and the file is not revealed.
