What issue are you seeing?

Review command no longer works and outputs weird output and never seems to actually complete the work on a fresh context and simply running /review command.

I first noticed this in 1.28, but can't say that it's the version that introduced the issue.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I see something that seems similar in the Codex App. The review panels/callouts/findings just aren't present.

I have the same issue, and I can reproduce it with this prompt:

render this code comment

::code-comment{title="[P2] Valid directive" body="This body includes "quoted text" and parses correctly. But renders invisibly" file="/tmp/example.ts" start=1 priority=2 confidence=0.8}

You can see as it replies to your prompt, it starts to render the ::code-comment block and at the final closing brace } it disappears.

edit2: actually it seems OP is having another issue, since he is using Codex through cmux
