Announced Codex usage reset did not apply; weekly usage still ~2% and reset bank shows 0 #30680

Summary

My Codex account does not appear to have received the publicly announced full usage reset or the additional banked reset credit.

What I expected

After the recent announcement that Codex usage limits would be fully reset again and that one additional reset would be added to the reset bank over the next 24 hours, I expected:

  • the normal weekly usage meter to return from the depleted state, and
  • one banked reset credit to become visible/available.

What happened

My weekly usage meter has remained stuck at about 2% for roughly 4 days. I also do not see any banked reset credit.

The local reset-credit endpoint helper currently reports:

Codex reset credits
0 resets available

No reset credits to show.

This was checked again on 2026-06-30 around 08:06 CEST.

Environment

  • Codex CLI: codex-cli 0.142.3
  • OS: macOS 26.4 (25E246)
  • Surface: Codex desktop/app account state and local Codex auth session

Notes

This looks different from a UI-only issue because both the app-visible weekly usage state and the reset-credit endpoint show no applied reset/banked credit. I am not including account IDs or tokens here, but can provide additional diagnostics through a private/support-safe channel if needed.
