Description
What version of Codex is running?
codex-cli 0.46.0
Which model were you using?
gpt-5-codex high
What platform is your computer?
Windows 11 Pro
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Not sure if there's a clear pattern yet. For this particular situation, I used BMAD-method as the initial prompt template. I then paused the initial prompt, because Codex CLI would auto trigger when the prompt is long (desirable behavior would be like Claude Code where long text are compressed in brackets), and added additional instructions. The output ended up being truncated.
What is the expected behavior?
The expected behavior should be the fully completed response.
What do you see instead?
This is what I got instead - truncated sentences in the response.
