Its hard to know what's going on without any code examples :)

Did you run pnpm run build? Are you pointing to your local assets or to some hosted location?

I set up the 4444 port and published it to the public internet, but for some reason it just won't work.

Hi, same issue here. I cloned the project, built and run the client app using these commands:

pnpm run build
pnpm run dev

Then ran the Node.js server using:

pnpm start

I then ran Ngrok and added my app to ChatGPT:

https://{custom_ngrok_server}/mcp/

And I tried to use the tool, but I cannot see the UI in any way, I'm just seeing tool call logs?
I also tried using the Python server, same issue. Any idea? What am I doing wrong?

This is so weird, because I gave my ngrok address to my colleague, and he could see the widgets using my app on his GPT account. Is the feature only available on specific ChatGPT accounts?

Indeed, for now apps are only available on consumer plans, so you can test this with a personal account. We will add support for business plans later on! Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm using my own personal PLUS account, and I can't get the UI elements to be rendered. The resources are failing to being loaded as you can see on the network:

Ok, now with the latest pr merged (#64) it works again!

Commented on #58 - indeed it didn't work with the new set up if you didn't run pnpm dev to have the app running locally. Sorry about that, merged #64 so that it works either way. Closing this issue - please use #58 to comment on the other topic (ChatGPT business accounts not supporting apps).

Any ideas why it doesn't work on organization accounts? You guys solved a problem related to build command, but this issue was not even related to that. XD
