New

  • Find in changes: Cmd/Ctrl+F in the Changes and Walkthrough panels opens a find bar that searches every file of the changeset, with a match count and next and previous arrows (thanks to @gaojunran).
  • Annotate pages: pages an agent shows in the chat and HTML files open in Files have the same "Annotate page" button as the browser panel. Point at a part of the page and tell the agent what to change there.
  • Chat: text in a page an agent shows can be selected for a comment, a BTW, notes or read aloud, like text in a reply (thanks to @lantzleiweke).
  • Sessions: Settings can keep sessions warm for 30 minutes up to 3 hours after a reply, for all sessions or only the ones you choose.
  • Sidebar: the List view can sort sessions by time across all projects, from the Sessions choice in its display menu.
  • Chat: the setting that pins each prompt to the top of its turn while the reply scrolls under it is back, in Settings › Chat › Messages.
  • Chat: notices from plugins, such as "waiting for quota reset", show in the chat as a folded row, along with restarts and moves to another folder.
  • Chat: with "Save pasted images as files" in Settings › Chat › Composer, pasted images are saved on the machine and linked in the message, so the agent can attach, forward or edit them. A model that can't read images gets only the link.
  • Issues and PRs: a project folder holding many repositories lists and searches the issues and PRs of all of them (thanks to @guidan-nick).
  • Sidebar: a project's menu opens its Issues and PRs board (thanks to @MltStephane).
  • Mobile: Settings › General lets you hide and reorder the tabs of the workspace panel, and a long press on a tab reorders it there too.
  • Mobile: Changes has the walkthrough and a Last turn view (thanks to @gaojunran).
  • Files: the image preview steps to the previous and next image in the folder (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Agents: an agent can close the browser panel tabs it opened (thanks to @nicholaicascio).
  • Work status: an issue or PR the agent linked to the session can be removed from Context sources (thanks to @DeryFerd).
  • Settings: passkeys can be renamed (thanks to @Gautam0507).
  • Settings › Projects: a project can be closed from its page (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).

Improvements

  • Browser panel: sign-in popups work, logins survive a restart, and pages of another project stay loaded when you switch projects.
  • Sidebar: chat folders show up on every device connected to the same server, phones included (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Sidebar: open groups in the Tree view are framed by guide lines, so it is clear which sessions belong where.
  • Agents: pages agents draw look like the rest of the app and follow the interface font size.
  • Desktop: once you open a session, its notifications leave the macOS Notification Center.
  • Model picker: the popup beside a model names the provider that serves it (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Projects: every project list follows the sidebar's order (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Changes: the sideways scrollbar of a wide diff stays at the bottom of the panel (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Issues and PRs: screenshots in descriptions open full size on click (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Usage: with Sign in with ChatGPT, the Codex card points to ChatGPT's own usage page, since OpenAI shows that usage nowhere else.

Fixes

  • Performance: a chat you work in for hours stays responsive, and the message box no longer redraws on every step of a streaming reply.
  • Chat: a thinking level stays with the model it was set for and no longer carries over when you switch models.
  • Chat: when a provider's limit runs out, the retry status shows when the limit resets. It used to count down 15 minutes to a retry bound to fail.
  • Chat: pressing Stop reads as a stop. The chat used to say the message failed to send (thanks to @DeryFerd).
  • Chat: when the answer came back but the send looked lost, the app said the send failed and offered to send it again (thanks to @mannex111).
  • Chat: messages steered into a running turn show again after a reload (thanks to @qijizh).
  • Chat: a session waiting for your answer keeps its question mark after a reload, and answered pages no longer leave one behind (thanks to @yulia-ivashko, @ChangeHow).
  • Chat: no "did not start a reply" while the chat's folder is still starting (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: tool results made of text blocks show as readable text (thanks to @mradwankhalil).
  • Chat: no blank rows between Activity steps, and expanding a row at the bottom keeps its header in view (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: selecting a file name in a message no longer opens the file (thanks to @Hayston1001).
  • Chat: attachment names open their preview, and pasted text saved as a file opens as text (thanks to @mradwankhalil).
  • Chat: a queued message sent as a goal starts the goal (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: the button above Stop follows the Steer or Queue setting (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: a collapsed turn shows its speed (thanks to @ChangeHow).
  • Chat: scrolling over a page an agent shows no longer pulls you back to the end while a reply streams.
  • Chat: text under a page an agent shows no longer shakes, a page wider than the reply scrolls sideways, and pages no longer flash white when they come back into view (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: Markdown export keeps the thinking level (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Chat: one-line shell output no longer shows a scrollbar on Windows.
  • Agents: a page waiting for your answer stays open past six minutes.
  • Agents: smaller models no longer fail to show a page when they leave out its title, and a mockup with its own colours no longer partly takes the app's theme.
  • Agents: some models' calls to link an issue or save a todo failed every time (thanks to @Edigorin, @bashrusakh).
  • Agents: an agent linking one more issue or PR to a session no longer removes the others (thanks to @bashrusakh).
  • Routing: Auto asks your own classifier before choosing a model. Every message used to go to the fallback model (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Auto: a session whose saved Auto model became unavailable no longer crashes the chat (thanks to @alankyshum).
  • Sessions: the project menu's Archive all archives the subagents too, and subsessions archived on their own show in the archive and can be restored (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Sidebar: List search no longer shows chats that match only inside a hidden subagent (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Sidebar: a chat's three-dot menu stays open when the mouse leaves it, and PR badges stay on other worktrees while one is deleted (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Sidebar: linked issue and PR chips of worktree sessions open in the app (thanks to @bashrusakh).
  • Notifications: a finished turn's notification names the project its session belongs to, and chats show as Chats (thanks to @JosueGalRe).
  • Worktrees: a session in a new worktree starts in the project's own folder of it, so a project opened on a subfolder keeps its agents and providers (thanks to @moczix).
  • Worktrees: closing the trust prompt of a Quick worktree cancels it (thanks to @Hayston1001).
  • Worktrees: deleting a worktree on Windows removes its folder (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • New chat: the branch above the message box updates when it changes outside the app (thanks to @Hayston1001).
  • Git: Initialize Git on a project root no longer hides the repository inside it, and the repository picker no longer slides under Publish in a narrow Git panel (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Changes: the diff view no longer crashes on open in the branch, commit and PR scopes.
  • Changes: a narrow Changes panel moves its view buttons into a More actions menu (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Spaces: a new space's draft runs its terminal and dev server in the space and shows it in Files, Git and Browser. Models and providers from the project's config work in space chats, and new chats start in the permission mode from Settings (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • MCP: Settings › MCP lists servers from a parent folder's config, a chat you left keeps its servers stopped, and the toggles in a new chat no longer change the previous one (thanks to @yulia-ivashko, @rwestergren).
  • Files: search by name finds the obvious match in large projects (thanks to @pablovns).
  • Files: the JSON view lines up, closes its brackets and shows indent guides (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Files: no "Open in desktop app" button for a remote server's files (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Plans: images in plan previews show (thanks to @alankyshum).
  • Commit messages: a slow local model gets enough time to read a large diff (thanks to @bashrusakh).
  • Settings/Providers: providers load again after the saved working folder was deleted (thanks to @Wonderchn).
  • Settings: a plugin OpenCode can't load is no longer shown as added, and a skill description fills its field when resized (thanks to @yulia-ivashko, @berkeatac).
  • Settings: the GitHub CLI account can be chosen for a Git identity (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Usage: Copilot shows the credits used as GitHub's own panel does, and works with GitHub Enterprise sign-ins (thanks to @milesbuckton, @jontaz1000).
  • Usage: the Antigravity card shows the Gemini limits again, also after its sign-in expires (thanks to @yulia-ivashko, @Zhangyinglun).
  • Usage: the OpenRouter card calls the key's spending cap Key Limit, where it looked like the balance.
  • Context: the panel shows the whole session's cost, and the breakdown bar matches the readout above it (thanks to @DeryFerd).
  • Work status: Subagents and Usage load sooner after a refresh, and the floating card no longer closes when you pick from its own menus (thanks to @guidan-nick, @Naputt1).
  • Autocomplete: a command's description no longer stays open while you scroll the list (thanks to @nlhm).
  • Diagrams: Mermaid edge lines are visible (thanks to @xhang1108).
  • Extensions: an extension can open its panel in a chat without a project, and its answer still arrives after you close its panel (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Scheduled tasks: Open session opens the chat in its own worktree (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Terminal: Option-typed $ | \ { } @ reach the shell on Mac keyboard layouts (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Desktop: Alt+Up/Down no longer switch sessions on Windows and Linux (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Desktop: closing the app on Windows no longer leaves a chat stuck on an unanswered question (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Desktop: the app no longer reloads in a loop when it keeps crashing (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Desktop: when the app is told to use another server at launch, the instance menu no longer calls that server Local, and the log says why the built-in server did not start (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Desktop: the Windows installer is sharp at display scaling above 100% (thanks to @pritulaziah).
  • Mobile: file search finds files again (thanks to @xhang1108).
  • Mobile: Backspace from the Android keyboard deletes in the terminal, and the terminal can paste (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Mobile: no empty strip under the status bar on Android (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Mobile: pairing a second server no longer replaces the first when both share an address, and phones reconnect after the computer restarts (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Mobile web: the message box no longer keeps the phone busy while the keyboard sits open (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Enterprise: the Claude Code card in Settings › Integrations is hidden in enterprise mode.
  • Agents: a second OpenChamber on the same data folder no longer swaps the agent's tools (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).

Misc

  • Desktop updated to Electron 44.9. Windows Voice Access types into the message box (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • macOS: the desktop app now needs macOS 13 or later. Older Macs stay on the version they have.
  • Windows ARM: the installer ships OpenCode built for ARM (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
  • Nix: a flake runs the server and the desktop app with nix run, and a NixOS module runs the server as a service (thanks to @fabiob).
