This prerelease packages the C02 development installer and PostgreSQL-backed API and portal runtime for live qualification.

The installer implements a disposable Linux VM on an operator-selected KubeVirt cluster, with pinned Kubernetes, Cilium and PostgreSQL components. The runtime starts with an empty provider registry and durable browser sessions. The release includes the Linux/amd64 CLI, artifact manifest, image identities, SBOMs and build attestations. Both development images are available anonymously by digest.

Accepted source: 7493f3dfd03a7034cd7aec2aeb98e7cfe1607b0e. Build and attestation evidence comes from release-provenance run 34134361974: the CLI and recovery worker from attempt 1, and development image evidence from the successful attempt 2.

Follow the installation guide and release verification procedure. Use the exact image digests and installer hash in cloudring-dev-artifacts.json.

Live VM creation, retry, restart, isolation, complete deletion and recreation have not yet passed C02 acceptance. This is a development-only prerelease; tenant products, live OVH restore qualification, HA and production acceptance remain pending.

CloudRING C01 establishes the public delivery baseline for the staged developer pilot and CloudRING/OCS 1.0 work.

  • The accepted roadmap preserves all original requirements and adds the C01–C28 delivery mapping, explicit dependencies and numeric measurement profiles. The packaged verifier accepts the complete roadmap and rejects candidates with missing required thresholds.
  • Linux/amd64 command bundles and recovery images are independently reproduced. Go 1.26.8 builds retain symbols and pass checks of the compiled binaries. The bundle includes its CycloneDX SBOM and SHA-256 checksums.
  • The recovery image uses unchanged etcd 3.6.14 source rebuilt twice with the release compiler. Its source/build record, executable digest, image identity and SBOMs are retained with GitHub attestations. The exact rebuilt tool passes the real offline snapshot recovery check.

Accepted source: 9f709e50e5f0dafdba915d6215c4b1f8b244cc14.
Protected build and attestation run: release-provenance.

Verify the downloaded assets and provenance with the release verification procedure. The release is immutable. Use the worker by its image digest from etcd-recovery-worker-identity.json.

The supported scope is delivery tooling and the documented command contracts. A complete developer installation, tenant VM journey, live OVH restore qualification, HA and production CloudRING/OCS 1.0 acceptance remain pending their roadmap stages.
