It looks like it could get not get the window location correctly and set to 0,0. Not sure why wayland on fedora handles this and RPi trixie does not. Maybe different versions of the wayland x11 bridge? Anyway, this looks like the right fix.
- only save when window is visible - offset calculation was incorrect and forcing to save 0,0
For upgrading users, they might already have 0,0 saved. If so, don't use it.
