This release makes the ondx management CLI a first-class download. You no longer need a Go toolchain to install it. The release also fixes a provider-registration bug in the Orchestration Engine and cleans up the local development setup.

✨ Highlights

📦 ondx CLI on GitHub Releases

ondx is now built with GoReleaser and attached to every GitHub Release. (#573, @mushrafmim)

  • Prebuilt binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows on amd64 and arm64, with a checksums.txt to verify downloads against.
  • Homebrew: brew install openndx/tap/ondx. The macOS quarantine flag is cleared on install, so Gatekeeper won't block the first run.
  • One-line installers for Unix (install.sh) and Windows PowerShell (install.ps1).
  • New ondx version command shows the version, commit, and build date.
  • Build provenance: check any download with gh attestation verify <file> --repo openndx/openndx-core.
# macOS / Linux
brew install openndx/tap/ondx

# Any Unix
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openndx/openndx-core/main/scripts/install.sh | sh

# Windows (PowerShell)

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Orchestration Engine: AddProvider no longer registers a nil provider or one with an empty service key. Before this fix, a bad provider entry could end up in the registry. Fixes #511. (#572, @RuhanRandula)

🧹 Developer Experience

  • Tidier local-dev config: compose.yml and .env.example now use consistent defaults and are grouped by service, so the settings for each component are easier to find and change. The README's local development section is updated to match. (#570, @sthanikan2000)
