we are selecting the step when opening the context menu over it. In this case we want to preserve the right sidebar state, so we don't see a shift of the context menu over the node.

Add to step context menu and canvas context menu option to paste previously copied items.
A new change is that opening the context menu both for step or canvas over the node will select that specific step.
