Prose CLI 0.15.0-rc.2 (unsigned candidate)
Pre-releaseProse CLI 0.15.0-rc.2
This unsigned release candidate packages the current CLI for Linux x64/ARM64 (glibc) and macOS Intel/Apple silicon. npm distributes the Bun executable; both Bun and Rust have standalone downloads. Windows is not admitted for this release.
Install the exact npm version with Node.js 22.22.3 or newer:
npm install --global --ignore-scripts @openprose/prose-cli@0.15.0-rc.2
prose --versionUsers install one package identity. Exact optional dependency aliases select the platform executable from suffixed versions under @openprose/prose-cli. Installation needs no lifecycle script and no separate Bun runtime for the CLI executable. Harness installation and authentication remain separate. Platform versions are payloads and should not be installed as the top-level CLI. The stable npm latest tag remains unchanged; use this exact version or the rc tag.
Changes since the previous public candidate include updated native admission and installation checks, broader stable Claude 2.x admission, correlated queued Prime child continuations, bounded native capture failure reporting and selected-secret capture behavior, and OMP tool admission and retained-stdin settlement controls. This release also includes evaluator adapter profiles and provider usage handling, plus explicit contract-file selection guidance. The same-name npm layout reuses the existing trusted publisher and keeps platform tags separate from the user-facing RC tag.
A CLI release pins executable bytes. Normal startup resolves the published kernel for each run; the qualification record identifies the kernel actually observed. Mechanical checks do not establish language semantics or general model/harness conformance. The paired live smoke qualifies only one unchanged Hello World per exact macOS ARM64 implementation on its recorded Codex/OpenAI route.
Known limitations remain: the finance research's longer Prime route loses required history events and is unqualified; its experimental repair is excluded. The reproduced OMP cleanup issue is repaired and qualified in main; a distinct historical Bun timing observation remains unexplained. Existing OpenRouter capacity limitations are not removed by this release. The newer kernel candidate remains unqualified and is not promoted here.
macOS binaries have no Apple Developer ID signature or notarization. Sigstore and npm provenance authenticate workflow and bytes; they do not provide Apple platform qualification. Stable promotion and Homebrew publication remain separate flows.

The explicit four-platform build produced the original archives. The independent paired live report binds exact macOS ARM64 Bun/Rust binaries, delivered kernel bytes and native completion. Exact-main source admission and the publication inventory are separate release gates. All original download bytes are bound by SHA256SUMS and their detached Sigstore bundles.
