Prose CLI 0.15.0-rc.3 is an unsigned prerelease of both Bun and Rust implementations.

Changes since RC2:

  • Preserve completed Prime child results when a later history omits them (PR33).
  • Add explicit, capability-checked probing for newer Codex versions; strict default admission remains unchanged (PR42).
  • Report oversized native records with accurate resource-limit diagnostics and recovery guidance (PR46).
  • Reject execution flags that Rust account commands previously ignored (PR45).
  • Align developer guides with published-kernel startup and harden deterministic process-test fixtures (PR43/44).
  • Add Homebrew packages openprose/tap/prose-bun and openprose/tap/prose-rust, each providing prose, with native unlink/link switching and four-platform release/upgrade checks (PR41).

GitHub/direct downloads ship both implementations; npm remains Bun under
@openprose/prose-cli with same-name platform versions. No default Homebrew
implementation is selected. macOS artifacts are unsigned and unnotarized.

Qualified artifact plan and
immutable smoke evidence.
All four platforms passed native build/install and Homebrew rehearsal. Both
MacARM implementations passed one Codex/OpenAI Hello World each. Hello World smoke does not establish
broader harness/model conformance. New native Codex0.159 model execution and the
separate historical Bun cleanup diagnosis remain unqualified/unresolved.
Stable/latest and kernel channels remain unchanged.

Installation:

  • Bun through npm: npm install -g @openprose/prose-cli@0.15.0-rc.3.
  • Homebrew, choose one: brew install openprose/tap/prose-bun or brew install openprose/tap/prose-rust.
  • Both standalone implementations: release assets below or the immutable download manifest.

Both Homebrew formulas provide prose. If both are installed, use the tap's switching and upgrade instructions. Genuine RC2-to-RC3 upgrades passed on all four platforms with each implementation selected; the original command selection is restored through ordinary unlink/link operations.
