Glossary

A number of OpenScholar terms have a different meaning than common Drupal usage. When in doubt, check here!

• Control Panel

Control Panel is a simple administrative menu that appears at the top of the page for a vsite admin user viewing an OS Site they have access to.

• OS App (OpenScholar App)

An OS App is a features module configured to operate individually across OS Sites on a single OpenScholar installation.

• OS Site (OpenScholar Site)

An OS Site is a node of content type vsite, short for "virtual site". This is the core building block that all OpenScholar profile installations use to provide one or more configurable OG spaces.

• Profile (Profile OS App)

Profile is an OS App that provides a content type called Person, and a top-level page that lists this content called People.
