Install on Drupal 7

The forthcoming OpenScholar 3.0 RC1 will run on Drupal 7. Until then, check out how far we've got!

Getting started

  1. Download the current version of Drupal 7 (7.20 as of 2/20/13)
    e.g. http://drupal.org/project/drupal
  2. Go to the profiles directory in Drupal's docroot
    e.g. cd {drupal root}/profiles
  3. Clone OS v3.0
    e.g. git clone https://github.com/openscholar/openscholar.git
  4. Install the openscholar profile for Drupal 7
    e.g. by visiting /install.php in your browser.
  5. Choose Development (not Production Deployment) during the install wizard.
