Scout 0.3.0
Scout 0.3.0 follows the published-package review with fixes to channel routing, catalog persistence, and CLI verification.
-
Explicit channels own the destination of a message. Scoped package names and agent mentions in the body remain ordinary text.
-
Claude session catalogs use ordered, atomic writes, and shutdown waits for pending persistence and error reporting.
-
The npm guide accurately lists the bundled CLI, broker/runtime, and basic web surface. The retired monitor is no longer advertised as a bundled console; the Rust TUI remains optional.
-
The dedicated CLI suite now runs in public CI and the root unit command. Tests build fresh isolated fixtures and cover compact and detailed help.
-
The local publisher supports explicit existing npm login for interactive two-factor challenges while preserving signed artifacts, exact receipts, and canonical registry routing.
Both npm packages are released from the same reviewed public source. The attached receipt identifies the exact retained package bytes. Publication runs through the oscout organization's GitHub Actions workflow with npm trusted publishing and provenance. The CLI includes a Developer ID-signed scoutd.
