This is an automated PR from the ARC system.

This change addresses CVE-2026-42502 by updating golang.org/x/net/html on branch release-4.22.

Changes were generated using the following commands:

./ $ go1.25.12 get golang.org/x/net/html@v0.55.0
./ $ go1.25.12 mod tidy
./ $ go1.25.12 mod vendor

Common PR issues and how to fix them:
  1. Title needs to be changed:
This might be needed if a PR references multiple Jira issues and some of them have been closed as duplicates.

    Use /retitle <NEW TITLE> command from openshift-ci bot

    openshift-ci bot commands

  2. verify-commits check is failing:
Commits need to be in the format UPSTREAM: PR#|<carry>|<drop>: <commit message>.

You can do achieve this by doing one of the following:

    • Rerunning the ARC Remediation and specifying an Upstream PR Number.
    • Cloning the ARC Fork, using git commit --amend -m <commit message> and force pushing the changes to the fork.

Hi @ocp-sustaining-admins. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a openshift member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work.

Tip

We noticed you've done this a few times! Consider joining the org to skip this step and gain /lgtm and other bot rights. We recommend asking approvers on your previous PRs to sponsor you.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.
