_brand.yml consolidates the openwashdata visual identity from the website theme (style/theme.scss, styles.css): the purple family with a derived very light background tint, a high-contrast orange, the link blue, the highlight set, Atkinson Hyperlegible typography, semantic color mappings, and the designated logo marks. logos/ carries the full library including the QR-code logos and the source design file. example.qmd renders a preview from the brand file alone; its palette chart reads the YAML live so the preview cannot drift from the definition. The README documents per-consumer usage (Quarto, bslib, plain R) and the change-here-first update discipline. Rendered output stays untracked. Assisted-by: Claude claude-fable-5
