NativOS V34 RC1

Experimental ARM64 Android/Linux hybrid GSI. This is not a production-certified release.

Download NativOS-V34-RC1-arm64-ab.7z and verify its SHA-256 with the attached checksum. Extract the archive and flash only the extracted .img, not the archive. Required logical system partition capacity: 5 GiB (5,368,709,120 bytes).

Changes

Includes the V33 desktop/launcher and APT integration plus the guest audit compatibility fix for OpenSSH/shadow package configuration failures. The fix is scoped to the unprivileged Linux package guest; Android auditing and SELinux are not disabled.

Validation and limitations

Runtime/package regression tests, raw and sparse AVB verification, decoded filesystem checks, exact embedded manager/library readback, and Moto/Pixel structural policy boundary checks passed. V34 clean-install, boot and reboot acceptance on physical devices is still pending. Strict baseline/vendor security-policy assertions remain unresolved; structural linking is not security certification.

OEM Android kernel/vendor and device-specific matching firmware/vbmeta are required. A/B support alone does not establish compatibility. Software rendering is used. Flatpak installation and general Electron compatibility are not guaranteed. APT needs internet and initial package setup needs at least 3 GiB free userdata.

Installation warning

Read the attached INSTALLATION.md and RELEASE-NOTES.txt before flashing. Flashing/resetting may erase all device data or leave the device unbootable. Back up data and retain matching stock firmware for recovery. Never use another model's vbmeta, boot or vendor image. Keep the bootloader unlocked; never relock with this image or verification-disabled vbmeta installed.
