macOS 1.0.18

  • Reads the weekly quota from the currently signed-in Codex account through the local Codex app service.
  • Refresh Now forces a fresh current-account quota request instead of reusing stale cached data.
  • Keeps recent session and SQLite data only as fallbacks when the local Codex service is temporarily unavailable.
  • Runs quota reads away from the UI thread for a more responsive menu bar experience.
  • Displays only the weekly remaining quota and its precise reset countdown.
  • Supports both the standard signed Installer package and legacy app-based in-app updates.
  • Signed with Developer ID, notarized by Apple, stapled, and accepted by Gatekeeper.

CodexVisual Windows 1.0.18 displays only the account-wide remaining weekly Codex quota.

  • Ignores model-specific quota streams such as GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark.
  • Refreshes the saved start-at-login path when a newer executable is launched.
  • Uses an internal Windows version that matches the v1.0.18 release.
