v1.3.1
A PATCH: editor/admin behaviour only. No block markup, settings key, REST key or GraphQL
field changed. Pairs with any 0.1.x theme.
Fixed
- The block editor broke when a site's Site Address (home) is on a different host from its
WordPress Address (siteurl) (ORBI-82). That split is the normal headless setup: the public
site lives at the static front end, and WordPress stays on its own host. It's also what makes
Optima Express register the front end as the site's address. WordPress buildsrest_url()
fromhome, so the editor's REST root pointed at the front end, which has no/wp-json.
The editor drew from preloaded data and then couldn't load or save anything. REST URLs are
now rebuilt on the WordPress host.- Only when the hosts differ. A scheme-only mismatch on the same host (
httpsiteurl,
httpshome) is left exactly as WordPress built it. Rewriting it would hand the editor an
httpREST root and cause mixed content. - A
homewith a path loses the path as well as the host. Upgraded tohttpswhen the admin
request is https.
