I know that a midi trigger can be set up on a slide (trigger slide with midi note) but is there a way to select a presentation in a project and trigger that with Midi and more importantly is there a definable midi action for "next slide" or using a specific note say for instance note #17 with a specific velocity and the velocity selects that slide - so velocity 1 selects slide 1 - 2 for 2 and so on? This is how Pro Presenter works and is the only thing holding me back from switching right now. We use Playback for backing tracks and playback sends midi notes in this way to trigger specific slides in a presentation for a song. In this way I can have my backing tracks trigger the slides without me having to assign a midi queue to each individual slide. More info: Maybe I am just missing how to do this but I'm wondering if FreeShow can't currently do this, is it something that could be added easily? -Rich |

Yes, create a new action in the drawer, select the "Play slide at index" action, then add the "Activate by MIDI signal" in "Custom activation" on that action, and select the correct MIDI input, and you should be good to go.
The note is 0 (C-2) and the channel is 1 by default, but that can be changed, and the velocity will determine the actual slide index.
