App page, versions, crossed-out red check mark: What does it mean?

I have been asked by someone why there is a red crossed-out check mark for a specific installed version of an app in the app's detail page, and I did not know either, nor was I able to find out.

What does it mean? Is it something to be concerned about?

Tl;dr

• Green Tick -> Verified reproducible build
• Red Tick -> Non-reproducible build
• Brown Tick - Unknown state

So apparently for that new NewPipe version the build is no longer reproducible for whatever reason.
