How to get message with formatting in ALLOW_GAME event?

To be clear I'm talking about the ClientReceiveMessageEvents.ALLOW_GAME event, I'm using this event because I want to block chat messages in some cases. I was hoping that message.getString() would include message formatting but that doesn't seem to be the case for chat messages, only for overlay messages. How would I get chat messages including any formatting?

getString gets the raw string contents without formatting. Instead, use the component as-is to preserve formatting.
