zsh killed when trying to access git on m1 mac

I'm new to git entirely.
Saw a couple of online resources and got started.
But when I type in git clone it shows zsh killed

I even tried some of the solutions on the internet like reinstalling gettext and pcre2 but it gives me this error

so I tried to install gettext and i got this error

Next I tried uninstalling and installing homebrew but again, that didn't work either.

Run

xcode-select --install
brew uninstall git
brew update

You can reinstall git after doing brew update.

git got installed perfectly after I ran the xcode-select --install
