Hello!

After switching from Windows to Mac I continued to use RAR by installing it via Homebrew and keeping my license-file.
Now the RAR-formulae has been disbled, as far as I understand it, because the rar and unrar commands fail with Gatekeeper. I had to use the xattr workaround after each update.

I do not understand it completely, but is there any way to get the RAR formulae working again for future updates? E.g. is there anything like a „force“ switch for brew to update such disabled formulae?
Or could it be useful to get in touch with the RAR-developers and ask them to perhaps get their app notarized?

Thanks for your quick reply. I will write a message to the RAR-developer.
Is there any way to continue with the current formulae and RAR in the meantime?
I.e. Install RAR with homebrew and afterwards apply xattr to it? Or something similar?
