Question about Reactor setup and debugging

Hi, I am trying to create an ammonia process on IDAES base on the IDAES example code, but while my CSTR setup is same as the code, there's an error popped out when I initialize the reactor :

  m.fs.REACTOR.initialize() -->

  "InitializationError: fs.REACTOR failed to initialize successfully. Please check the output logs for more information."

Therefore, I want to discuss how to properly setup a reactor and how to debug when face similar problems.

What's the difference between your local code and the example code? I assume that you built the flowsheet like in the example code, but you're using a different property and reactor package. Which property and reactor packages are you using?

Have you worked your way through the entire tutorial series, or just one example?

Hi, thanks for the reply, the sample picked CSTR as reactor, where I picked stoichiometry reactor, and also I have 6 reactant, so I guess I might miss something in reaction configuration. I will watch the tutorial series and do it again. Thanks!!

By the way, the Youtube tutorial series is outdated. Check the Jupyter Notebooks in the examples repo instead.
