What we're still looking for
The recovered readers (build
20260710_d899773e, extlib v70 era) lack one API,cpp_get_include_file_by_index, which was added upstream around extlib v76 (2026-09-11). A v76+ reader would remove our last compatibility fallback. The only places those binaries ever existed:extlib.ziprelease asset, v71 through v82 — downloaded fromgithub.com/OpenRadioss/OpenRadioss_extlib/releases/download/vNN/extlib.zipextlib/folder of an OpenRadioss source checkout built between 2026-09-11 and 2026-10-01 — if you ranbuild_script.shin that window, the folder sits next to yourstarter/directoryAlso welcome for the archive, any original
extlib.zipof any version — these were the upstream-published packages and we preserve them with verified hashes. What to do
Please reply with the exact filename, where and roughly when you obtained it, and its SHA-256 checksum — post the hash first, don't upload yet:
We verify every donation against independent references (reader build IDs, byte-level matches to upstream git history, and known-good hashes) before anything is redistributed.
Recovered so far (thanks to this thread and direct donations)
extlib.zip)latest-20260728win64 / linux64 / linuxa64 + sourceupstream-v82)extlib/build folderThe long-term fix is independent of this: the AGPL open reader in the main repository's
reader/directory is being brought up as the permanent replacement for the binary readers. If you'd like to contribute there, watch this repo for the tracking issue.Even one of the missing items above would let us delete the last compatibility fallback. Thanks for digging through your downloads folders — it has already paid off three times.
