Hi @karimsebaa-PRO,

The PGM will always assume the slack bus to be at the source. See https://power-grid-model.readthedocs.io/en/stable/algorithms/pf-algorithms.html#nodal-equations.

Minor caveats:

* If the grid consists of multiple islands (connected components in the topological sense), each island has its own slack bus.
* If there are multiple sources within the same island (connected component in the topological sense), the slack bus will be chosen arbitrarily (implementation-defined, see https://power-grid-model.readthedocs.io/en/stable/advanced_documentation/terminology.html#implementation-defined). In practice, with the current implementation, this will mean the first source within that island in order of definition in the input data, but do notice that we can change this at any point in time.

Setting a high sk (e.g. $10^{50}\text{VA}$) would model this.

See also this good-first-issue that intends to make it a built-in feature to also allow specifying, e.g. $\infty \text{VA}$: PowerGridModel/power-grid-model#733 ; feel free to pick it up if you like.
