Disable - into list possible?

Lists in pretty much any text editor aren't good enough for me so I have to do them manually.
The problem is that when I type a - to indicate an item row(that's what I like to use, don't wanna change it), it gets transformed into a list element and I have to press backspace every time to undo that and since I will never want that behavior(I'll use the button to make a list the rare times I want one), I was wondering if there was a way to disable that so I could save some time and annoyance when typing.

Unfortunately, there's no built-in setting to disable automatic list formatting in Trilium currently. This has been requested before.

Workarounds:

• Ctrl-Z immediately after the unwanted transformation will undo it (slightly faster than backspace)
• Use Code notes instead of text notes if you want plaintext without any autoformatting

The autoformat behavior comes from CKEditor plugins built into Trilium. There's been discussion about potentially adding a settings toggle to disable these plugins, but it hasn't been implemented yet.
